About Skin & Care

Research for skin that was left out of the research.

Skin & Care is a consumer research lab focused on how skin changes on people of color. We combine daily photo tracking with AI and dermatology science so progress is visible over weeks and months—not guessed from a mirror or a generic routine.

Most skincare tools were built on data that doesn't reflect melanin-rich skin. We study real faces over time—same light, same angle, same person—and turn those patterns into a personal skin journal: what changed, what triggered it, and whether things are calming down.

Our work sits between dermatology and machine learning. We're not replacing a dermatologist; we're building better measurement for everyday care—structured logs, computer vision, and models trained with skin-of-color representation in mind.
